It's a graveyard smash! Name that song ♬
I'm back! I've been a little MIA because last week I started a new (second) job, and also working on making my Halloween costume in all my free time!! Not to mention watching the LA Dodgers play in the World Series! It has been CRAZY. But I'm back to write because it's almost Halloween (no, Halloween isn't over just because Halloweekend is!) and I have a spooky Ramblin' Rose collaboration to share with you all!
As part of our Lake Tahoe series, for our third shoot we ventured out to Markleeville (30 miles from Tahoe), a small town of only 200 people which is known for it's bicycle "Death Ride," of which over 3,500 people participate in annually! Death Ride certainly is a fitting name for our setting today...
... Which is a tiny and very old cemetery in Markleeville! This cemetery hasn't been used for nearly 2 decades, as all of the headstones (about 10 in total) are from the 1800's. It is a beautiful and peaceful place.
Let's talk style! Of course I'm rocking corduroy, you guys know I keep talking about it! I snagged this sold out Free People dress on Poshmark (I was obsessively searching) and I'm so glad I did! It's the perfect burnt orange shade for fall, and looks great with a turtleneck or mockneck long sleeve!
Let me know what you want to see more of on the blog in the comments below, and if you liked this post! I'd love to hear from you guys as I learn and continue to improve here! And also check out the rest of the photos at https://ramblinrose.pixieset.com/!
