SLO Irresistible: Exploring Downtown San Luis Obispo

Writer's picture: TannaTanna

This beautiful mural popped up recently in Downtown SLO!

Happy Monday everyone! Ever since leaving my old job and starting my current one, I've seen Mondays not as something to dread, but as an opportunity to seize the week and really make the most of the time I've been given! I actually get excited for what my weeks hold now, and it's such a great feeling.

This time last week I was in San Luis Obispo (aka SLO), which is one of my favorite places on earth. If you don't know where SLO is, it is located roughly halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco on the Central Coast! I went to college there, and I'm so very lucky to have family that lives there as well. That means I get to visit any time I want! ;)

Happy to be SLOme!

This past week I went to SLO to visit my family, but I also made time to meet up with a couple of friends to go see this new Insta-Worthy mural downtown! The new mural created by Canned Pineapple Co popped up in an area of downtown SLO called the Creamery Marketplace, which has recently been renovated to be a beautiful relaxing space. (And it also happens to be home to some amazing ice cream at Nite Creamery!)

Pretty blooms.

While SLO has sunny weather most days, it also tends to be pretty cool in the mornings and evenings, so I was excited to finally get to wear some of my new Fall pieces. I snagged these BlankNYC jeans at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year and I've been dying to wear them!

This H&M faux leather jacket is so cute and comes at a great price! If you aren't able to splurge on a real leather jacket, you can snag this one that still looks great and is super comfy! I'm really picky about lengths of jackets, because some are awkwardly short, but this one is perfect.

Enjoy these fun photos from the new SLO Irresistible mural in downtown SLO, and don't miss it on your next visit!

Thank you of posting these great photos. I wanted to know what lens was used to capture the entire wall in the first image? Or perhaps you used a mobile phone? Thank you in advance.
