My 5 Essential Beauty Products for Everyday!

Writer's picture: TannaTanna

I'm not going to pretend I'm some big beauty guru, but today I want to share with you all my favorite beauty products that I use on a daily basis! My makeup routine pretty much stays the same (I know, boooringgg), but I do get a lot of questions about the products that I use, so here you go! Photos have links to all the products :)

1) Foundation Essential: Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation- $42

This is a pretty expensive foundation for the average person, but I'm telling you that it's WORTH it. If you're going to splurge on any makeup item, foundation is it. A word of warning: Once you switch over to high-end foundation, you can never comfortably switch back to drug store foundation. A little of this stuff goes a long way, and it really is long lasting. It's the only foundation that I've ever tried that stays put all day, and I've tried so many! You can even work out wearing this and still look great after, as long as you don't rub your face for any reason. My winter shade is Sand- 1W2.

Bonus: A must have for the application of this foundation is a beauty blender! However, I can't justify spending $20 on a sponge I'm going to throw away in a few months. Luckily, I found this great dupe at Target by L'Oreal, for only $7!

2) Urban Decay Eye shadow in Buck- $20

Having hazel eyes, I feel that a lot of eyeshadow shades clash with my eye color. This is my every day go-to shade of basic brown, and I love it! It comes in the original Naked palette, but it was the first shade I used up, so I bought it as an individual shadow from UD. Also, UD is discontinuing their original Naked palette (so sad!!) so if you don't already own it, you'll have to buy it individually anyways. (Unless you grab the palette while it's still half off and in stock HERE!

3) Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Naked- $34

Can you tell I'm an Urban Decay junkie? This palette gives you a 3-in-1: Bronzer, Blush, and the perfect subtle highlighter. The shade I use is called Naked, but the palette comes in 5 different gorgeous combinations! Used on top of my foundation, it really perfects my skin!

4) Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Mascara- under $6

It's hard to recommend a mascara to someone, because everyone has such a different preference on brush shape, whether they want volume or length, etc! I happen to love the Maybelline mascara, and I get it in waterproof (because when you're an emotional person, you never know when a tear is going to pop out... ha). Jury's still out on the difference between classic black and glam black, so I go with whatever one I'm feeling that day!

5) Anastasia #14 Eyebrow Brush and Dipbrow Pomade-

$14 and $18

This is another one of those products that you can't go back to living life without once you have them! I purchased these for the first time last year, and I'm still getting the hang of them, because making your eyebrows look good is HARD. The brush is amazing because you can draw hard or soft lines, so you can achieve any look you like with practice! I use the pomade in the shade 'taupe.'

Well that's it! I hope I've introduced you to some amazing products and that you'll love them as much as I do. Are there any essential makeup products that you use that you think I should add to my list? Let me know!

And have a great weekend, exploring pumpkin patches, attending weddings, whatever your plans are, hope it's fun! I'm going to be seeing Drake in concert this weekend, so I'm looking forward to it!

Love always♡Tanna
